The main dealed varities are the local ”Ramasin”, available by the second half of July, “Santa Clara” , available by the second half of August, and “Angeleno, available by the end of August.

Santa Clara

The fruits of this variety have an elongated shape, a medium size, a red plonk peel with yellow solid pulp and are very sugary.

Ramassin o Dalmazzine

Classic local plum . the fruits are little but have a sweet flavor. The pulp has a light yellow colour and is easy to rattles off. This variety is suitable either for fresh consumption or for jam. It’s harvested in the second half of July.
